Connect an AI assistant to Rocket Source

Connect your assistant to review scans, check product history, convert identifiers, create and cancel scans, and export results. You need the Scale plan to use the connector.

Use this server address in your assistant: https://app.rocketsource.io/mcp. When asked to connect, sign in to Rocket Source and approve access.

Claude at claude.ai

1. Open Customize, then Connectors.
2. On an individual plan, select Add custom connector and enter the server address above. On a Team or Enterprise plan, ask an owner to add it in Organization settings, then find it in Connectors.
3. Select Add if you added the connector yourself, then Connect and approve the Rocket Source sign in.

ChatGPT

1. In a Business, Enterprise, or Edu workspace, enable developer mode if you have access to create custom apps.
2. Open Apps, then Create from Workspace settings if you are an admin or owner, or from your settings if you are an authorized user.
3. Enter the server address, choose OAuth, and select Scan Tools.
4. Approve the Rocket Source sign in, then select Create.

Claude Code

Run these commands in a terminal:

In Claude Code, run /mcp and complete the Rocket Source sign in.

Codex

Run these commands in a terminal:

codex mcp add rocketsource --url https://app.rocketsource.io/mcp
codex mcp login rocketsource

Approve access in your browser, then run codex mcp list to check the connection.

Cursor

Open Cursor Settings, then MCP. Add a remote server named rocketsource with the address above. Complete the Rocket Source sign in when Cursor asks.

What your assistant can do

• List scans, view a scan, and page through its results.
• Get product history and convert identifiers.
• Create a scan with CSV text of up to 5,000 data rows.
• Create a scan from a CSV, XLSX, or XLS file by posting the raw file to a one-time upload URL within 15 minutes.
• Cancel a running scan.
• Export scan results to a CSV or XLSX download link valid for 15 minutes.

Disconnect an assistant

In Rocket Source, open Integrations, find Connected apps, and select Revoke next to the assistant. You can also remove the connection in the assistant itself.

Using a script instead?

Open the Rocket Source Integrations page to create an API token for your own scripts. Keep that token private. AI assistants use the sign in steps above.
